Hello all,

I have been considering adding a section on the website http://www.charcotmarietooth.webs.com called "The Lighter Side of Life" or summot similar but basically a section where I could post photos of pets, hobbies and anything lighthearted going on in my life.

I don't know whether to bother though as I am trying to make the website more professional and not just a blog, an actual resource for CMTers and people wanting to find out more.

Also, when trying to submit my website as an external link on some websites, they tend to from upon personal websites... I can get round it most of the time with the arguement about having sourced information etc but having a more personal area might not help the issue?

I sound like I'm talking myself out of it already don't I But I just thought on the plus side, it would make me a bit more of a "person" than just a website if you know what I mean.

Sam, I can see your predicament. It's not easy finding the balance, I'm not sure it can be done. How about two linked blogs, that way you can keep the professionalism of the information blog, whilst allowing your creative and personal side freedom on the other blog.

Just a thought , I think I replied too hastily and got a bit side tracked from what I was actually asking

As far as I am concerned personally, I'm not bothered about having a personal section (with all the day to day stuff, pet photos, what I've been up to etc..), I just didn't know if people think it would be worth my effort , to make the website more friendly? etc...

Everything you have done so far has been well worth it. Can't see that anytbing will change.
