How To Post New Topics & Replies

To write something on the forum other than in the Chat Box or by Personal Message (PM) is called POSTING.

A TOPIC is a new subject which a member has created.

A SMILIE is a little picture, usually of a cartoon yellow face which expresses various emotions.

Posting / Making a NEW TOPIC

To Post a New Topic on the forum, do the following...

1...... Whilst viewing the Index Page, Click on your chosen Forum Section, (e.g. - Introductions, CMT Chit Chat, Hobbies & Interests or Game Zone just to name a few). This will display a list of the topics posted by members. You can Click on any of these topics to view them.

2...... To Create a NEW TOPIC click on the blue NEWTOPIC button toward the top of the page (whilst viewing a a section). This will take you to the New Topic posting page.

3...... Type the title of your new topic in the Subject: field.

4...... Type the content of your new topic in the Message body: box.

5...... You can add smilies to your new topic by clicking on any of the smilies to the left of the Message body box. These will display in word form in the Message body box but will display correctly as images once you have submitted your new topic.

6...... Once you are happy with everything, click Submit. This will post your message.

REPLYING to an Existing Topic

To Reply to an Existing Topic on the forum, do the following...

1...... Whilst viewing the Index Page, Click on your chosen Forum Section, (e.g. - Introductions, CMT Chit Chat, Hobbies & Interests or Game Zone just to name a few). This will display a list of the topics posted by members. You can Click on any of these topics to view them.

2a...... To REPLY to any of these Topics click on the blue POSTREPLY button toward the top of the page. This will take you to the Post Reply page.

2b...... Alternatively you can reply by typing directly into the Quick Reply Box at the bottom of the page whilst viewing a Topic.

3...... Type the content of your REPLY in the Post a Reply or Quick Reply box.

4...... You can add smilies to your new topic by clicking on any of the smilies to the left of the Post a Reply box. These will display in word form in the Post a Reply box but will display correctly as images once you have submitted your new topic.

5...... Once you are happy with everything, click Submit. This will post your message.
